I've used a bit of poetic licence with today's entry, so as not to give a key name away. Enjoy!
“Hi, it’s me, sorry, it’s a bit late. You’re probably in
bed. I’ll call you tomorrow.”
Carl was right. Lucy was in bed, but she wasn’t
alone. When Carl called, Lucy was otherwise
occupied.
Short but sweet this Sunday. But I hope you enjoyed it and it has piqued your interest. To find out who Lucy's companion was and to read more of Sign of the Times, you can go to the following links to download the first 10%

Have a great Sunday and look out for more posts mid-week

Glad you liked it Donna! Yes, naughty doesn't quite cover Lucy!
DeleteOops. And loved the excerpt, too!
ReplyDeletethanks Karysa and for taking the time to comment, Sooz
DeleteOtherwise occupied . . . she was painting her nails, wasn't she? Lol. Makes me wonder what the dynamic of Carl and Lucy's relationship is, and with whom she was otherwise occupied. Very intriguing. :)
ReplyDeleteIf only she were simply painting her nails! Life would be a lot less complicated for her. Glad you liked it. Sooz
DeleteI agree with Christina! This 6 intrigues the reader!
